How to visit Luigi Mangione in jail (state prison)

At the moment, we (Inmates Connections) are scheduling prison visits and visitations to those who want to visit Luigi Mangione in jail. If you are interested in visiting him, please write to us by filling out the form located below.

Who is Luigi Mangione?

Luigi Mangione, 26 years old, was detained on Monday December 9th in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the site of an intense five-day search, when an employee of the McDonald's restaurant there who met was recognized by the death of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, advise the authorities.

Mangione was also accused of possessing a firearm without license and forgery, which he had in his possession of various identifications forged at the time of being detained. The boy did not give her right to his girlfriend, to consider that he was in danger of escaping.

But here he is the alleged person responsible for the crime that brought the anger to light in EE. UU. against the health system?

The accused comes from an economically privileged family in Maryland. His son Abuelo was a successful businessman of property management, owner of the luxurious Turf Valley Resort retirement and convention center on the outskirts of Baltimore, among other real estate projects.

He is an Ivy League graduate

The youngster attended an exclusive private college, and at least two Ivy League universities, which are among the most prestigious in the country, Pennsylvania and Stanford, where he participated in a program in 2019.

First up is the state congressman Nino Mangione. The family issued a statement to the community that they felt "impacted and devastated" upon learning of Luigi's arrest and offered their prayers to Thompson's brothers. The arrest of the suspect occurred on the same day as the executive's funeral, which took place on December 4 outside a Manhattan hotel.

At the time of his detention, Mangione was carrying a backpack that blocked his cell phone signal, which apparently made it easier for him to get around Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Among the authorities that started the Policy there is a detailed manual on three pages about which the authorities did not say more details, but they confirmed that they stated that "bad intentions cause the companies to be common".

I apologize for any conflict or trauma, but I would like to hear from you. Frankly, these parasites simply sell it

However, a police official, who communicated with the AP news agency about the low condition of anonymity, revealed that, according to this manuscript, Mangione acted alone, without complicity, and agreed: "I apologize for any conflict or trauma, but I wanted to what happened. Frankly, these parasites simply sell it".

What happened during Mangione detention

During his detention, they learned information about a previous chronic illness that caused him to be exposed to the public eye. One person who shared with him during the time he lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, described him as suffering from a “life-threatening skin injury that was aggravated by surfing and hiking.”

Mangione had surgery on his spinal column for some time last year to relieve chronic spinal pain. The activity of his friends in the social sphere reveals intentions to contact him after his disappearance from the public sphere, which coincides with the time of the operation. You are not sure that the photo of a column x-ray that appears in the background image of your X-ray corresponds to this procedure.

The social media and public comments on the notes in the digital media reveal a feeling of sympathy among some users for Mangione, which seems to summarize the frustration of many people affected by the denial of his complaints by serious doctors.

What the governor has to say about jail visits to Luigi Mangione

The governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, is one of the personalities who has managed to rise to the occasion of this narrative: "In some dark corners, this little boy is being hailed as a hero. Excuse me in this, he is not a hero", Shapiro said. "The true hero of this story is the person who called 911 at McDonald's this morning." He also said that it jail and prison visits are allowed, in case anyone wants to visit him in jail.

The majority of those who have described to Mangione refer to him as a "good guy" or a "suit who had everything to triumph", but some disturbing details about his readings could shed light on his actions.

On the page in the Goodreads reading page, there is a classification of four stars to the manifesto “Industrial society and its future” by the American terrorist Theodore Kaczynski, best known as the Unabomber, responsible for sending the paper and bomb packages that arose in the death of three people and physical damage to others 23, this young man was described in his commentary as an “extreme political revolutionary”.

He just came back from Hawaii

Also, in 2023 he founded a reading club during a short period of residence in Hawaii, an activity that several of the original affiliates abandoned, inconvenienced by the selection of Mangione's books. When he was in Hawaii, Mangione also visited friends. His frequent visits to the island of Hawaii during the last 5 years have made him almost like a local resident of that state.

Now the 26 year old man is waiting to be extradited to New York, a process that could take several months, in conjunction with antecedents of other cases, although there are alternatives to help the tax department speed up the process through an order of the Supreme Court.
